Lauren loves to dress up and change clothes. She would do wardrobe changes all day if I let her. On average she will wear 6 different pairs of shoes in a day. She likes to sit in her closet and sort through them and try them all on until she finds the ones she wants to wear. Whenever we go to someones house, her shoes immediately come off and she tries on every pair she can find. Oddly enough this shoe fetish came from Dean. When we got married, he had more shoes than me, and I thought I had a lot. He came home from his mission with 15 pairs of shoes (seriously--who does that?) and has a tote full in the garage of just work shoes (including a pair of GOLD ones from a Halloween costume 6 years ago--glad we're keeping those). Dean's obsession with buying shoes has calmed significantly, but I have a feeling Lauren's has just begun.
I have been sorting through baby stuff and had these blankets out to wash. Of course, Lauren wanted to wear them.
Me: "Lauren you look like a Pirate"
Lauren: "I'm not a pirate...I'm a butterfly!"
She's such a girl!!

Oh, that girl! She is such a daddy's girl :D and that's the way it should be! Dads are fundamental when it comes to a girls self esteem :)
