My mother and I are weird...to say the least...but we have always joked that if we could pick our church callings, it would be one of the following:
- Librarian (A highly coveted calling-apparently reserved for the elderly members of the ward)
- Hymn Book Distributor
- Thermostat Control
- Bulletin Board Coordinator
So last week I received a call from a member of the Relief Society Presidency...and guess what...my dreams came true! I was asked to be the "Bulletin Board Coordinator" for Relief Society! (My Mom is sooo jealous!!) It's not an "official" calling given by the Bishop or anything, but thats okay! So..the next time you are in the 18th Street Building, starting in November, check out the 9th Ward RS Bulletin Board! It will be the cutest one in the building!! (wink, wink)

How funny! I think you have to be a man in a wool suit for that thermostat controller calling.
You are going to do a great job at it. It is a fun calling for us scrapbookers because it is like decorating one big scrapbook page. enjoy!

A guy I know told me he was actually "set apart" to be a choir member :) so, no calling is to small or too big :)
