{Playing Tent}

I like blankets. It's probably because my mom has a million, so I think I need that many too. Plus they come in handy. For example, what if my heater broke or what if a lot of people were staying at my house and had to sleep on the floor...but really...every house should have a lot of blankets so you can play TENT! Sunday mornings are kinda boring around our house. We try to sleep in, since church doesn't start until 1pm, then Dean makes pancakes and we spend the rest of the time entertaining Lauren. Well last Sunday, Lauren drug out a bunch of blankets and her and Dean made a tent. Dean used the kitchen chairs and floor fans, so it was tall enough for Lauren to stand it. It was only up for a little while, since it took up the whole living room, but Lauren loved every minute. I wonder if Dean will count this as camping???

Ha! I just did a post about making a fort -as we call it. Dean's fort is much cooler than mine. Kind of cheesy and I didn't even fit in ours. One of my favorite childhood memories are making forts. Good times!!

Oh ya I forgot - I LOVE blankets too! I love them because I'm always cold. I wish I had so many more than I own. They always come in handy!!

building forts are the best! I remember building them when I was little.

Dad's are really good at them :)

I still love building forts! Any time the kids are acting bored with their regular acivities I make them a fort and they love it. Talmage likes to hide and be found and Kaia likes to take in her flashlight to play. It keeps them occupied for a little while so we make them fairly often!
