On Wednesday we drove to D3's house to help him load up their house and move to Utah. By the time we arrived, almost everything was packed up, but there was still work to do. Then Thursday morning, we hooked up one the trailers and headed to St. George. D3 and family were to follow later with the other trailer. We were glad to be able to help D3 and his family and grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them before they moved. We will miss having them close by!
The Babies! So cute!
When we pulled up to the house, this trailer was the first thing we saw! I about died! I told Dean: "There is no way we are hauling that thing!!" D3 made the trailer out of old Rest Area and Welcome to Arizona signs that he got from his old job. The sides were reflective and it glowed as lights hit it! I told them they better hide that in their backyard when they get to their new house or D3 will get called as the ward "Moving Coordinator!"
Such a cutie!!!
We tried to box up Lauren and send her with them, but there was not enough room in the trailers!
Lauren loved playing with Whitney in the garage while everyone was packing up. Lauren sure will miss her!
Luckily after much prayer and a few bumps in the road, everyone made it safely! It was definitely an adventure, but we sure were glad we could help!
