{Green Means Go}

The first stop on our 2 week summer vacation was lunch in Las Vegas. We stopped to see my friend Tara and her family. It was great to see her and a perfect opportunity for the kids to get out of the car and stretch. Tara had a little girl just before I had Kylee. It was cute to see them play together while we ate lunch.


Up to this point, Kylee did fairly well in the car, but Lauren was bored and antsy. She kept asking for food and whining, regardless of the entertainment I provided her!


We left Vegas and headed for St. George to stay a couple days with my Grandparents. It was great to spend time with them and just relax. Dean and Lauren also went to visit his brother, D3 who recently moved there. Kylee and I stayed and played a couple games of Canasta with my grandma...don't let her innocent face fool you...she beat me big time!

This is Lauren with Grandma and Grandpa's dog "Dots." Obviously it's not a dog. Its actually a step stool with a rope attached to it so it is easier to use. At some point someone colored it like a dog. Lauren had a lot of fun taking it for walks and playing with it.
