Dean and I took a trip to Phoenix yesterday to the Mesa Temple. We left the kids with my mom, bless her heart, so it was nice to have almost 6 hours of peace in the car to just talk. It was also great to go to the Temple again. We are so blessed to have 2 close by as well as 2 more being built in the Phoenix area! When I told Lauren we were going to the temple, she asked, "Are you going to get married?"
After the Temple, we picked up Ashley and went to lunch. Driving on the freeway Dean saw Outdoor World and thought it imperative that we stop. It was like his dream store. When we walked in I told him it was his store and to lead the way, but make it quick. He told me it was like walking through JoAnn or Michael's with me. "Just be quiet and let me do my thing!"
We also stopped at Baskin Robbins for some Ice Cream..yum yum!
Part of our trip included swapping beds with Dean's brother. We had loaded up our queen bed in the truck and traded it for D6's king bed. On our drive home we encountered this:
We drove right in the middle of it a majority of the way home. I thought with all the wind we would loose the mattress for sure! Dean was hoping it was a tornado because according to Dean "wouldn't that be cool!" Luckily neither happened and I was so grateful it did not start raining! What a mess that would have made! Eventually the skies cleared and the rest of the trip home was smooth sailing!

I have seen a wall of dirt just like that many times driving to phoenix! It is cool. Congrats on the the kind size bed....you'll never go back!
It was so nice to see you guys one more time :) I meant to tell you that you looked really cute in that shirt! I loved the color!
Hopefully, you were able to shake all of that dirt off the mattress :)
