{I'm A Big Kid Now}

Lauren started preschool for the first time last week. She loves it, of course. I knew that she would think it was the greatest thing ever! Her friend is in the same class, so I think it has helped to have a little bit of familiarity in it all. It takes me a while to pull out of her, all the things they do each day, but eventually she tells all. She has already had show and tell, a puppet show, pirate day, gone on a treasure hunt, finger painted, learned about her body and more. I think the hardest part is the Mommy-Separation-Anxiety I am experiencing. It is getting better, but I am still not quite use to my baby girl growing up!

Day 6:

Me: Lauren how was preschool today?
Lauren: It was sooooooo much fun!
Me: Did you have fun finger painting?
Lauren: Yeah, but it was kinda boring.

I don't think we ever get use to our kids growing up! I understand your anxiety. I love the preschool years, they are the best! It great to see that she loves it so much!
