{Easter}

The Easter Bunny stopped by and left the girls baskets! The night before was spent out late with cousins, so Lauren had forgotten the Easter Bunny was even coming. No fear; he didn't forget her!

The E.B. even helped himself to the carrots in the fridge and left the girls a note. Lauren thought that was great and Kylee, well...she was just glad he didn't eat all the carrots!

After finding all the eggs the E.B. hid, we headed over to the Chadwick's to watch General Conference. Conference was wonderful and uplifting as usual and I look forward to studying it again and reading the parts I missed when it comes out in the Ensign. The kids obviously don't get the concept of watching conference on TV yet, but we did our best to get them to at least behave, so we could watch; even if it required bribing them with food.

After Conference and a delicious Easter Lunch, Lauren and I took turns hiding Easter eggs for each other. She is a pretty good hider!

We were then able to join all the Farars and Browns for Super Family Home Evening, which we hold the first Sunday of every month. It was our turn to host, but opted to have it at D4's house, since ours would not hold all 35+ of us! Dean taught the lesson about Jesus Christ and the Resurrection, which was fitting for Easter Sunday. It was catered more to the children but a perfect reminder for us all of why we really celebrate Easter! Then we finished off the evening with treats and talking! It is such a blessing to have a lot of family close by, that we can spend time with and that our children can grow up with!
