{Fair-y Tales}

The fair rolled through town this spring break and we took the kids {yes, I even convinced Dean to go!} We joined D4 and his family as well as Jeff and his girls! I loved going to the fair every year as a kid and I love going even more, now that I have kids! Even though it costs an arm and a leg to do it all, I enjoy letting them ride the rides, looking at the animals, as well as looking at the booths and crafts. And who doesn't love fair food?!? {It was really hard sticking to our new eating habits and not getting a cinnamon roll this year! I didn't even go in the building where they are sold!} Lauren practically inhaled the cotton candy!

We started by putting Lauren on a ride, but quickly realized it was not going to go over very well if we didn't find her "friends." As soon as the ride started she buried her head and would not look up.

She was much happier when we found her cousins and friends!

Lauren and Dean rode the Ferris wheel and Lauren surprisingly liked it!

Kylee fell asleep in the car on the way there and slept peacefully in the stroller for a while.

She woke up just in time for the animals. She was fine with her close encounters with the farm creatures, until they started invading her personal space. She drew the line with the sheep. They were way to aggressive!

And what is a trip to the fair without a ride on a carousel?

It was a great day at the fair and another Fun Family Adventure to add to the books!
