{Summer}

Oh, what do you do in the summertime,
When all the world is green?
Do you swim in a pool,
to keep yourself cool,
or swing in a tree up high?
Is that what you do?
So do I.*





Lauren got a swimming pool for her birthday. Just in time for the lovely summer temperatures to roll in. Every minute since getting it, she has asked to go swimming. She loves it and would spend all day out there if I let her. Kylee however enjoyed it while it was empty, but freaked out as soon as I put the hose in to fill it up! Instead she preferred to sit in my chair, posing as life guard on duty!









Kylee got tired of sitting in my chair and ran off to the sand box. I knew her feet had to be on fire, so I threw gently set her in the pool when she came back by. Once she realized that the swimming pool is basically just like taking a bath outside, she was in heaven!

I think perhaps next time I might get in myself! Dipping my toes in was just not cutting it!
