It's official.
Dean has a new hunting buddy!
Like usual, dove season started off with a bang!
{get it? Bang?...Never mind.}
Dean took Lauren with him each morning. They woke up and were out of the house before 5am {which resulted in looong afternoon naps! My favorite!}! The first day, Dean forgot to take Lauren, and she was NOT happy. So he made sure to wake her up each morning and she was so excited to go. She would even set out her clothes at hat each night. 
Lauren's main responsibility was to collect shells. However she did inform me that she did pick up one bird. But don't worry...she only touched "just the feathers!" Which makes me feel so much better...not!
When I asked her what her favorite part of hunting with daddy was, she said: collecting shells and playing with the her cousins that came too. Although she didn't mention it, I am sure getting donuts each morning played a huge role in her willingness to go!

I am so happy to see some "girls" get into the hunting action :)
though, we'll have to teach the younger girls how us "older Farar women" go hunting :D
