{Train Park}

The girls and I spent a couple of days in Phoenix at my sister-in-laws house, while our husbands were off scouting around for a place to deer hunt. On Friday we got brave and decided to take all SIX kids to the Train Park in Scottsdale {almost an hour away from my SIL's house!}. Her kids LOVE riding the train, carousel, and playing on the playground there and since my kids had not been, we figured it would be fun.

The kids all patiently waiting for the conductor to let us on the train:

Kylee would not let go of me once the train got started, but I think she liked it:

Then we rode the carousel:

Kylee absolutely LOVED the carousel. She completely lost it when I made her get off!

The train park was definitely fun and I would like to go back during the cooler months. The kids really enjoyed the park, but by the time we made it to Cafe Rio afterward for dinner, and then stopped at Hobby Lobby and then stopped to pick up milk and movies, the kids had had ENOUGH {to say the least!} We kept asking ourselves what we were thinking when we decided this adventure would be a good idea, but in the end I think it was worth it! We will see if we learned our lesson next time!

I would have loved to be there! I can't tell you how much I would love to retreat to one of your houses' each time Damond has a test week!
I am glad that you guys enjoyed it :) I have been going to that park since I was like 4 yrs old! Lots of good memories!!!

But I cannot believe that you also drove all the way out to almost Gilbert as well! What a trip! ;)

We had a good time! Wish you could have been there Adriana and you are more than welcome anytime when Damond has a test or not. We love to have family stay with us. It helps the time go by faster. Linsey I am trying to come up with some plans for the next time you come. I made two more pillows, I need to fix them a little so you will have to give me some ideas.
