The fair came to town, so we loaded up the kids and headed over. We met up with Johanna, Lacie, Ryan and Jason. All the kids rode through 5 books of tickets and loved every minute.
This was the first year Kylee was able to ride the rides. I didn't think she would like them, but I was wrong! She LOVED it! She had a grin permanently plastered on her face the whole time she was on a ride! I think perhaps she will become our little thrill seeker {especially since she is the one that yells "faster Daddy, faster!" when he drives with the windows down}!
I love this picture of her. It was her first ride and although you can't see her face, she is all smiles with the wind blowing in her hair. She was so happy!:
Lauren had fun of course too. Her favorite rides are the Merry-Go-Round and the Ferris Wheel and she was not completely content until she had a bag of cotton candy in her hand!
The amazing thing was, Lauren actually climbed to the top of this "ride" even though she is scared of heights! I couldn't believe she did it! I guess all she needed was a little peer-cousin-pressure:
She was so proud of herself, when she slid down the slide!:
They got stuck in the spinner at the end of the fun house, but they thought it was hilarious!:
Jason and Johanna:
Then came my least favorite part....the petting zoo! {gag!}:
But the kids love it and that's all that matters!
Milking a cow:
Riding tractors:
Then Dean had to waste $5 on shooting hoops. Yeah he lost:
We finished off with walking through the exhibits, checking out the 4-H animals, getting a cinnamon roll, and having a corn dog. Oh the joys of fair!......until next year!
{Kylee was looking at the pictures as I wrote this. She kept saying "Go! Go! Go!" I said "You want to go to the fair?" She replied: "Yes!! Go!"}

Oh I wish we could've been there for the fair. It looks like you had so much fun.
