Lauren was Student of the Week last week! She was pretty excited and we were very proud of her for already being such a good little student. Her teacher said she hardly makes a peep in class, is kind to the other kids and always follows directions. I told her I wasn't sure we were talking about the same child because she is almost the complete opposite at home some days! I guess she tries so hard to be perfect at school, she's got to let loose at home!
Since she was student of the week, we had to fill out information about her to put on the bulletin board in her class room. Then the office staff hung her picture up on a bulletin board in the office too. I about died laughing when I saw her picture that they took. Poor thing was probably terrified! I asked her why she didn't smile and she just said, "I don't know"!
So we had fun taking new pictures of her for the board in her class. I like these smiles a lot better!
Unfortunately, Lauren ended up having a high fever for 3 of the 5 days of her reign of Student of the Week and missed out on all the perks! By Friday, when she was well, she was so excited to go back to all things Kindergarten! I am so glad that she loves school and is such a sweet little girl!!

That is awesome! but I was so sad to hear that she was sick for most of it! :(
I really thought that picture was funny. It is so hard to imagine her as the terrified Lauren and not the the fun, loving, laughing Lauren that we love! :)
