We are boring. That's all there is to it. Nothing going on around here but the day to day happenings, but somehow we all manage to fall into bed at night exhausted!
Lauren is still loving school. Midterms came out yesterday. She passed off everything they have learned so far. Her teacher said she is a very good student and a good example to the other kids. She is still a little shy, but I can see her coming out of her shell; especially when she sees her friends. One day I picked her up and she was so excited to tell me that she was the first to fill her punch card for good behavior and was the first to pick a prize from the treasure chest. It was like the-greatest-thing-ever! Each of the kids "applied" for a job in the classroom. She wanted to be the morning messenger and that's what she was "hired" to do. She loves being able to take the attendance to the office every morning {and maybe get a hug from grandma!}.
Kylee is as crazy and imaginative as ever. She basically talks non-stop all day to everything and anything. She loves watching Buzz 4 {aka Toy Story 3} and is always asking "where we going now?" I thought it would be rough on her to not have Lauren home all day, but she has managed well. When she gets bored she usually says "Let's go get Lauren now." Then I know I need to kick the entertainment up a notch! She L-O-V-E-S nursery. She gets so excited when she sees her "friends" {the couple that teach the nursery} and loves to tell us about the toys she played with, the snack she ate and the songs they sang. She has started to have an interest in potty training. She thinks its great to sit on the "toy-let" {that's 2 words-said much like Vektor on Despicable Me} and do her thing. I'm not pushing it too hard, {I am not a very aggressive potty trainer} so we will see how it goes. I talk to her a lot about Baby Bailey coming. Poor thing doesn't know that her life is about to be turned upside down!
Bailey is growing; moving like crazy. I swear sometimes I feel like she's running a 3 ring circus. It's hard to believe that she will be here in 6 weeks, give or take. This pregnancy has gone by so fast and I feel I still have a million things to do to get ready for her to come. I keep asking Dean if he realizes we are about to be parents of THREE kids. Time sure flies! Kylee "helped" me go through all the baby clothes. One of the joys of having kids of the same gender, no need to buy this little girl a wardrobe! However, I think it's time to start stocking up on diapers!
Dean is busy and gone a lot. Between Stake YM and work, he spends a lot of time in meetings. A lot of meetings. It's any wonder he gets actual work done. Nonetheless, we are grateful he has a job he likes and for the blessings that come from it.
Me. Well. I'm here, big belly and all. This pregnancy has been SUPER easy. Which makes me a little nervous for the actual delivery. It can't all be easy can it?? Kylee and I spend our days around the house and running errands. Luckily she still takes decent naps, so I have managed to get a lot of sewing projects done during that time. I decided to make the girls quilts for Christmas and hope to have them done by the end of the month. I am currently the Primary Secretary. It has been a good, new experience for me {I'm so used to being in YW's}. It's fun being with all the kids and getting to do secretarial duties! {I love me some office supplies!}
That's our lives right now, in a nutshell. We aren't up to much, but it's amazing how fast the days go by!

I love office supplies too. I could go to Office Depot and buy everything matching and be sooo happy!
I love all of the quilts you've posted. I may even attempt a couple myself. Can't wait for Baby Bailey to make her entrance. :)
You forgot to mention that you're serving with the most amazing people EVER in Primary ;)
LOVE the update. I LOVE Primary...never thought I would, until I was in it. It's the greatest calling ever!!
It has been fun catching up here a little. Time has flown. All these little Kylee stories with all the funny things she has said are so cute. I feel like she was just born, and she is about to have a new sister. How crazy is that?
