Our little Bailey is growing so fast. She is over 7 months now {which I can't believe} and getting so big! She is such a joy to our little family! She is the happiest baby. As long as she is fed and in a clean diaper she will have a smile on her face {or her mouth wide open-which cracks me up}.
She is rolling like crazy. She started officially rolling on May 14th and hasn't stopped since. It is always a mystery to see where she ends up, when I put her on the floor. If we could just get her to be a more stable sitter, she would be in heaven. She loves to just sit and play with her toys, but usually ends up in a face plant if we leave her unassisted.
One day last week, she was unusually crabby. {Like I said, she is a HAPPY baby!} It wasn't until I saw the little hole in her front bottom gums, that I realized she was finally getting a tooth! Now she just wants to bite us! It is surprising how much pain one teeny tiny tooth can cause!

I L♥VE her! |
For as chunkers as she is {see chubbiness above}, I would think she would eat more. However, she is still just drinking only 6 ounce bottles. Today was the first day she was able to eat her solids and not end up with half the jar on her bib! Her little tongue has finally figured out how to keep the food in. She L♥VES her carrots, applesauce, peaches and squash! She is also taking a liking to fruit puffs and rice cups {gag}!
She is our little cuddler too. She loves to curl up in your lap and suck her thumb, whether she is tired or not. Nothing sweeter. Now she has started grabbing at my face when I feed her her bottles. For some reason she just likes to grab onto my lips and cheeks! Now if we could just get her to actually sleep through the night, I would be thrilled!
She still has quite a bit of eczema, specifically on her ankles, face, tummy and near her elbows. The doctor gave her a prescription, which I don't think does much. I think cortisone and Vaseline seem to do the trick, but as soon as I think I have it under control, it comes right back!
Today I had her buckled in her high-chair, then I stepped away, and when I came back around the corner I could see in her face she was watching and waiting for me. When she saw me her eyes lit up and she squealed and flapped her little arms, then practically clawed her way out of the chair! I wish I had it on video! It completely melted my heart. Such a sweet little angel.
It's hard having an infant again. Days are rough and nights are long. The work seems to never end. But as my other two "babies" grow older and more dependent I think I am finally {and slowly} understanding how wonderful and short this time is.
Oh how I love our little Bailey girl. I am so lucky to call her mine!
