{Baby Bailey}

Bailey is 9 months now!  Hard to believe.   She has changed so much in the last little while.  Her bottom 2 front teeth are fully grown in, with the top front four coming in as we speak {er...as I type!}.  These manifested themselves with long days and sleepless nights of crying, drooling and a runny nose!  Currently she looks like a vampire when she smiles, only the top two outer teeth really show.  I miss her toothless grin!


Her hair is blonde, blonde; which is so strange to me! Where did that come from?  It is starting to get curly too, which I love!  Her eczema is all over the map. A friend gave me a lotion to try, which worked miraculously! I couldn't believe it.  Her skin is so clear now! Every once in a while she has a flare up, but we use the prescription and it usually calms down again.  The worst spots are her hands {probably from sucking her thumbs}, which can become open wounds and bleed.
 
She loves to crawl and explore, especially the bathroom and specifically the toilet!  {Although, she has not figured out there is water in it yet or else her arms are just too short.}  She's quick enough that sometimes it's a hunt to find where shes crawled off to, even in our little house.  {Case in Point: Just had to hunt her down in my bathroom-she gave me that sly grin. She knew she was caught}  We basically try keep all doors shut, to every room, at all times! 

Bailey's two newest tricks are standing all by herself without holding on and clapping.  The cutest is when she does them simultaneously!  When she does, she pretty much thinks she's the greatest thing since sliced bread.  I would have to agree. She's got skills.

This kid puts everything in her mouth.  Sometimes we don't even know it, until it comes out the other end {if you know what I mean!}.  Lauren has got the finger-hook-removal technique down and loves to help with Bailey! On vacation she ate more dog food, grass, leaves and dirt than should probably be consumed by a little person. {She lived--and now her coat is shiny}  She loves to eat. Fruits, veggies and cheerios are her favorite.  Her daddy introduced her to Dr. Pepper today at lunch.  Might have to add that to her list of favorites too.

She's getting to that age where her personality is showing and she's finally like a little person.  She intentionally plays with you, peek a boo's, giggles and crawls away when you chase her, laughs at us when we dance in the car, lights up when you sing to her.  She knows if she hears the garage door open, that Daddy is home {she sits by the door and waits}.  She would rather play with electronic devices than toys and loves climbing in the refrigerator, if left ajar!

She certainly keeps us on our toes.  We love our Baby Bailey!
