{Lucky Girl}

In July, I had the privilege of going on two girls weekends in a row.  I know. Lucky, right? I really didn't plan it that way.  I had already planned and paid for the friend weekend when it was decided to have the family one. Therefore, I was forced to attend both!  I very well couldn't bail on the family!

First was the Farar Girls Weekend.  This is the 2nd one we have had and it was a lot of fun.  I am extremely lucky to have 7 amazing sister-in-laws and 1 wonderful mother-in-law.  You would think with so many different personalities there is bound to be some contention, but there isn't! We all get a long great! {unless I am that "ONE" SIL-if you know what I mean-- and I just don't know it! Very possible!}   We ate lots of yummy food, talked, slept in, crafted, etc, etc.  I was nice to have a few chaos-less moments and spend time together!

 The next weekend was spent in San Diego with friends.  Our main purpose of going was to see Wicked!  This was my second time seeing it but it was 10x better than the first time. We laughed, we cried. It was awesome!  We also, of course, had yummy food, tons of late night laughing, sleeping in, shopping and more shopping!  I love these girls {including the ones who couldn't join us}.  They are so much fun to be with! I am lucky to have such amazingly-fabulous women as friends.  They are the best kind of friends...in a Denny's sort of way!

And of course I have a wonderful husband that took care of everything while I was away. A husband that barely complained when we realized it was two weekends in a row. A husband that, I am sure, will encourage me to do it again next year, because he knows I NEEDED the break! A husband that I love very much!
