Crazy Weekend

Last Friday we headed up the mountain to Julian to stay with Brown's at their cabin. Except for the extremely winding road that Dean chose to take, while pretending to be Mario Andretti, the trip was beautiful, when I was able to compose myself enough to look out the window (being pregnant and winding roads don't mix). However, it was nice to be in the mountains and just relax. (Thanks Browns!) (I was dumb and never took out my camera while we were there, I will have to get pics from Bob)

Then after a rough night with Lauren (she ended up with a nasty cold), we opted to go ahead with our trip to Sea World, especially after the first words out of her mouth that morning were "Sea Wuuurld" (poor thing!). We met up with a friend of Dean's from his mission and his family at Sea World. I am glad we opted to go. Sea World was a million times better than the zoo and even though Lauren didn't feel the greatest she still had fun and got to see some really cool things. I hope to go back again soon.

Eating a Yummy $6 Hot Dog!

Cheering for Shamu!

Watching the Shamu Show!

Playing in the Elmo Playland!

Watching all the Animals

Feeding the Dolphins! (It's hard to see, but she was terrified!)

We also liked holding the star fish, feeding the mana rays, and "swimming" with the sharks. The weather was really nice, kinda over-cast, but dumb Linsey never remembers that you can still get sunburned!! Luckily I put sunscreen on Lauren, so she just got red a little on her nose where I missed, but my arms got fried along with my hands, face and head. You would think I would learn by now!!

I love Sea World! It looks like you guys had a really fun time. I keep trying to convince Damond that we need to take the boys :) I'm sorry that you got burned :( If you put your aloe gel in the freezer, for just a bit, it feels really good :)

How is it that kids know to get sick just as you're going out of town?? I never fails for either Ryan or Reagan to get a runny nose or cough just as we're leaving. I just don't tell them we're going out of town anymore. I think it helps. We're heading to Sea World tomorrow!!!
