{Oh, Yesterday}

As I was going to bed last night, I was recalling the events of the day and realized why I was so tired...here's how the day went:

  • I wake up to Lauren saying "Mommy...bed's wet" (diaper leaked--yipee I just changed the sheets!)
  • Ripped her file folder games in half and tore pieces apart
  • During snack, I am on the phone, and she smears cookies all over the counter then dumps a glass of milk all over herself and my newly mopped floor.
  • 3 wardrobe changes before nap time
  • Didn't fall asleep for nap time until 3, when she is usually asleep by 1:30.
  • Rips all the pieces apart of her new puzzle.
  • Chucks her dinner at Dean's laptop because I wouldn't give her more Ranch.
  • Manages to get black all over her legs and feet (after her bath) when she went in the garage with Dean
  • Covers herself and the office in stickers
  • Colors all over her face with a blue marker "Look Mommy, yipstick" (I should have taken a picture)
  • Used an entire package of wipes to clean off the marker when I asked her to get ONE!
and the list goes on and on. I know it could be worse and she didn't set anything on fire and there was no blood involved or permanent damage, but to me it just seemed like a lot of drama for one day and very unusual behavior for Lauren. Every time I turned around she was into something and my patience was wearing thin. I had had enough by the time the day was over...luckily she is so stinking cute! We'll see how today goes.

Side Note: There is good news...Lauren pooped in the toilet today! I haven't been pushing the whole potty training thing, she hasn't shown much interest. Dean however managed to convince her to do it! Luckily she didn't remember Dean's promise of a new trampoline when she went poop in the toilet!--oh the bargains we make to get our kids to do what we want!

Oh boy, can I relate to your day! Allison has always been a very busy little girl too, and still is! She can be exhausting at times, even still as she gets older! I don't remember my boys making all the little messes that she does! Hang in there, thank goodness they are cute!

That cuteness saves them so many times; it is why mine are both still alive. :)

Woo-eee! Just wait till there's two. One is creating havoc in one room while the other destroys another room!
That post exhausted me... :D

It's good to know I'm not the only one who lives through these crazy days.
