{Timeline of a Good Day}

Saturday, November 22, 2008 - "A Good Day"
7:00am - Alarms go off, we drag our lazy selves out of bed.
7:15am - Wake up Lauren.
7:25am - Lauren throws a fit because her shoes aren't on right. Change socks, problem solved.
7:35am - Arrive at Balloon Festival. Lauren is ridiculously excited to see all the balloons.

8:20am - Lady Bug Balloon takes flight (Lauren's Favorite) so we leave.
8:30am - Since we are up, we don't want to go home yet. Lauren, like usual, wants to go to the store.
8:35am - Decide to stop by the Farar's house. No one home. Keep driving.
8:45am - Arrive at Walmart #1--shop around.
9:05am - Still not ready to go home. Keep driving. Decide to feed the ducks.
9:10am - Stop at Walmart #2 (good thing we have more than one!) to buy lettuce to feed the ducks! (Note: if you ever go to feed the ducks--take produce--they like it more than old bread!)
9:15am - Feed the ducks. They love the lettuce--ALL of them. Lauren loves them.
9:25am - Still not ready to go home. Keep driving. End up at Target.
9:35am - Shop around at Target. Find a new shower caddy. Look at the pretty Christmas trees. Lauren shows us all the dolls she "needs" for Christmas. Convince her she has to be good so maybe she can get one for Christmas...(who taught her this anyway?). Find Lauren new socks.
9:50am - Ready to go home. Lauren thinks we still needs to go to 2 more stores.
10:05am - Hang out at home, make bread, play, watch cartoons.
12:05pm - I am exhausted, my back hurts, lay down to take a nap.
12:30pm - Lauren joins me; Dean watches a movie.
2:30pm - We wake up from our much needed nap. Decide to go help Bradley and Johanna build their new swing set.
3:15pm - Begin swing set building; Mom and Dad arrive to help also; kids play; women talk; have dinner; give kids a bath.

9:25pm - Men finish building swing set; Kids are beyond excited; Lauren smacks face against slide (of course!); Kids cry because we make them come inside; Johanna makes us "frothy" hot chocolate!

9:40pm - We head home and go to bed grateful for a good day.
