On Tuesday morning of our mini-vaca we headed into San Diego to go to the beach. My Mom, Johanna and Ryan and Lacie joined us as well. Dean was just like one of the kids splashing and playing in the water. He loves the beach. I on the other had, strongly dislike it (go figure-but that's a story for another day). We ate snacks and played for several hours. The kids looked for sea shells, built sand castles and played in the water. Kylee slept most of the time while I held her under the cover of an umbrella. There was a bit of a breeze, so the kids were occasionally chilly, but they all had a lot of fun.

Lacie was on cheeto duty. She walked around offering people cheetos. But if you notice her hand is covered in sand...so were the cheetos! Yummy!

The beach is so different after you have kids. Much more stressful. (o:
Looks like so much fun!! I REALLY want to make it to the beach this summer. Probably won't happen though.
