{Stage Fright}

Lauren's preschool class had a Christmas party and a program that they invited the parents to come watch. The kids sang a couple of songs that they have been practicing for the last two weeks. They had also made reindeer hats to wear, had Rudolph noses and jingle bell bracelets.


Lauren and her friend Reagan:


My "shy-don't make me do anything in public-especially if people are looking at me" child basically just sat there through the songs.


The songs had actions. She did some of them. She was especially good at swaying back and forth.


When it was time to sing Jingle Bells, she finally decided it was okay to participate. She didn't sing, but got into ringing her bells.


The program last all of about 5 minutes, but I think the kids enjoyed it. After everyone ate and visited.
