I saved my niece today.
She was trapped. Stuck on a ledge. Couldn't get down.
It was risky. I was scared. She was scared.
But I had to do it. She needed me.
Adrenaline kicked in.
The bystanders cheered me on. Kept me going.
I crawled. I climbed. I scaled. Finally I made it to the top.
I saved her. She told me thank-you.
Then I slid down the twisty-tube slide and went back to my McNuggets.
Proof I would do anything for my family. Anything.

I've risked my life a time or two as well. Amazing what we can do in time of need, isn't it. haha.
I had to rescue many little kids on those darn things.
It was always one of my worst fears that I was going to have to do that...but I didn't ever have to.
Your niece is lucky that you are there for her, no matter how bad the situation is ;)
