{Buzz}

Lauren can throw up {or at least tries to} often and easily, but it is rarely a surprise. For her, that's normal. Case in point:

Dean was giving the kids a bath. They were done and Lauren was already out and wrapped in her towel. Then she threw up.

Lauren: I threw up in my towel.
Me: Why? What's the matter?
Lauren: I had a hair in my mouth.

Example 2:

Me: Lauren will you put this towel in the washing machine.
Lauren: Dry Heave, Gag, Gag, Dry Heave
Me: Lauren you stop it right now! Do not throw up! What is the matter?
Lauren: It has a buzz. Dry heave. Gag. Gag.
Me: Stop it! It has a what?
Lauren: Gag. Gag. A BUZZ! Dry Heave.
I then looked at the towel and realized there was a small FUZZ {a BUZZ} ball attached. I removed the fuzz, threw it in the sink, and handed her the towel. She took it to the washing machine. Perfectly fine once the Buzz Ball was gone!

But that's not all, folks! If she sees hair, fuzz, dust bunnies, lint from the dryer, etc. etc. she will throw up! She gags if she looks at my piles from sweeping and it is almost painful for her to touch the dryer sheets!

Sometimes the gagging and vomiting can be so frustrating but I try not to get mad at her. I understand she can't help it; however, I have learned the only way to keep her from actually throwing up, is to yell at her. It distracts her enough that she pays attention to me and not the minuscule, fuzzy particle she just saw!

Plus, how can I get mad at this beautiful little face?

Yes, I cut her bangs myself.

Yes, I know there are professionals who are trained to cut hair straight.

I avoid the salonwhenever possible.
I am afraid she will throw up if she sees all the hair on the floor!
