{Her Idea}

At preschool the teachers would ask the kids the "Question of the Week." It was always hilarious to me to read Lauren's answers:

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Carrots

What do you like to do after school?
Play with my mom.

What is your dream vacation?
Sonic

If you could have any pet what would it be and what would you name it?
A cat named Flower.

I can totally picture Lauren answering these questions and connect her answers to whatever we had been doing that week. I love the way her sweet little mind works and seeing how different she is when she is on her own. It was funny to see her answers compared to all the other kids too. The best was the vacation question. The other kids picked fun and exciting places like Disneyland, China, Hawaii, etc. Not my daughter. She knows how to have a good time close to home and on a tight budget {she always gets the $1 Sundae}.

Lauren is now done with preschool; at least through the summer. Although she had a good time when she got there, it was always a fight to get her up in the morning and out the door on time {school started at 8:30}. Now I have the wonderful opportunity to keep her and Kylee entertained all 120-degree-blazing-summer long!

At least the car ride for our Summer Vacation this year will be bearable!
