{Pearly Whites}

I took Lauren to her first dentist appointment.

She was nervous. I told her it would be great and I did my best to prep her.

But I was nervous. {Even I get scared going to the dentist!}

Plus, remember the whole gagging thing? I thought for sure she would lose her breakfast the minute they stuck those do-hickeys in her mouth to get the x-rays {I even gag when they do that!}. I knew where the garbage can was. I was ready.



But she did AMAZING! Not even a flinch the whole time! {Maybe it was the cool glasses she got to wear!} The hygienist did a great job of explaining everything she did and made Lauren feel really comfortable! Plus it helped that the dentist was someone she knew! {Dean's cousin K's Husband} She was so excited to get a bag full of dental goodies and pick something out of the treasure chest!

Now I don't have to fight her to brush her teeth, she does it without asking and can't wait to put her sticker on the chart! Such a change of attitude!

Perhaps it was the trip to the dentist.

Or perhaps it was because I told her that if she didn't go to the dentist and start brushing her teeth better, they would rot and fall out of her mouth.

Either way, she's doing it! Whatever it takes. right?
