I loathe bath time.
Dean doesn't love bath time either, but he tolerates it.
{In fact he is giving them a bath as I type.}
When I give the kids a bath. They are in; they are out. No splishin' and definitely no splashin'. Their bath toys consist of 3 little cups and a Shrek squirt toy out of a cereal box {who will most likely be in the garbage turn up missing before the week is over.} They get wet, I wash them, rinse them and out they go. Dry & dress. Hair combed. Lauren hangs up the towels {it's one of her jobs}. The end.
I would rather scrub 100 dirty pots than give the kids a bath and that is always the trade off. One does dishes, the other does bath. Usually I can convince Dean to just do bath and I willingly take the dishes, no matter what we had for dinner or how many dishes there are. Sometimes, however he won't concede as easily and it results in a heated-best-out-of-3 game of Paper-Rock-Scissors. I always win...but that's a whole other story.
