{New Years Eve}

We finished off the year in Phoenix. We started early with a session at the temple, lunch with my sister {who had watched our kids for us} and then headed to D2's house. This was where the party was at! By the time everyone arrived there were 12 adults and 20 kids! It was chaos but a lot of fun!

We had dinner, froze, played games, froze, talked, and had a good time! Did I mention it was cold? Like super cold! And of course all the kids wanted to do was play outside. They love the trampoline {in ground trampoline+kids can't fall off=happy moms}. So we did our best to bundle them up and sent them out to play.

Kylee would jump all day if I let her! She loves the trampoline!:

The kids LOVE Uncle D6...they think he is totally awesome. And he bounces them really high on the trampoline. Who wouldn't love that? {Check out the last picture...yes that's Dean!}

The boys started a game of H-O-R-S-E in the house using a child-size basketball hoop. {Only our husbands!} It was intense!:

Once it was dark, we roasted marshmallows and let the kids play with sparklers {fireworks are legal in AZ now, you know!?!-totally awesome!}

See...she's jumping again:

Then she got mad:

Finally we brought out the pinata! Because it was so cold and none of the adults wanted to be outside, we did it in the house! The kids had a lot of fun {and I regretted buying the blowers as soon as the pinata busted open!}

Lauren was happy with her hand full of candy, bubbles and glow sticks! {don't mind her hair, it had been a long day!}

The little kids eventually all drifted off to sleep, due to pure exhaustion! We watched the ball drop at midnight and the moms were in bed around 1:30am. However, the husbands played games until around 4am! {Yes, all of us but 2 families slept there! The house was basically covered with blankets and sleeping people!} By the time the weekend was over, we were all exhausted, but we had a good time. Spending time with family was the best way to ring in the new year!!
