I am now 31 weeks! I had an ultrasound on Friday. At my last appointment, I was "measuring big" which is justification for doing another ultrasound to verify everything is okay. The doctor wasn't worried, but I figured better safe than sorry, and who wouldn't want to see this beautiful little face whenever possible!
Can you see those chubby cheeks??? {top of head on left, chin on right}! She definitely has Kylee's cheeks and she has Lauren's {the Chadwick} pointy chin. I had him confirm again that she is a girl {Dean thinks I'm crazy but you can never be too sure!}. I also asked if she has hair and sure enough she does! There seemed to be a little on the top, but quite a bit in the back! It was so awesome to see her this big and to see AND feel her move at the same time. Totally awe inspiring that we created this sweet little girl and that the whole process works out just the way the Lord intended it. Such an amazing gift. I can't wait to hold our baby girl!
Side Note: Baby Girl #3 is now Bailey! Dean was having a hard time accepting the names I had picked, so he challenged me to a riveting game of Paper, Rock, Scissors; best out of 3 of course. If I won, she would be named Bailey Elaine, if he won, we would keep thinking. I don't know why that poor man, after 8 years of continuous losses, still thinks he can beat me in PRS. I guess I shouldn't complain; it guarantees I get my way!

{Exile}
Our girls love their Daddy.
Me? Sometimes I wonder if they know I exist.
When we sit down to eat, it never fails that one of the girls {if not both} says, "Daddy sits in the middle!" {Because of the shape of our table--too big-- and size of the dinning room--too small, we eat at the kitchen counter/bar. Now with 4 of us, one person is left sitting uncomfortably on the end. Yep, that's me!} Even if Daddy won't be home from work in time for dinner!! And if I happen to sit in Daddy's seat, tears usually follow.
At breakfast this morning:
Lauren/Kylee: Daddy sits in the middle!!!
Me: I know. I know. Nobody wants to sit by me. Someday I will have a child that likes me!
Kylee: Noooooooooo!
Lauren: Well, we don't like you, but we do love you!!
For some reason I'm not feeling the love.
But really. I'm fine with it.
Really.
It's good they love their Daddy so much and only notice me when they need something.
{Like a diaper change.}
I'm just wondering where I will be exiled to when baby girl #3 wants to sit by Daddy at dinner too!

{Girl}
I was wrong. So, so wrong! I was 110% positive that this baby was a boy!
Ha! Shows what I know.
It's a GIRL!
I asked the technician if he could tell if the baby was a boy or a girl. He moved the ultrasound to that area.
Me: Is it a boy?
Him: Nope, it's a girl!
Me: What? Really?
Him: Yep, see the hamburger? No hot dogs here.
I was in shock. I think it took me a few minutes to focus again. Don't get me wrong. I really didn't care if it was a boy or a girl. I am completely happy with either one and am so excited and ready {I think} for a new baby. I was just so sure it was a boy because this pregnancy has been a million times easier/different than the other two girls {and I still don't understand why}. So I was convinced it was a boy, but I was wrong!!!
After the tech left, I asked Dean what he thought: "I'm excited. I love my girls. I wouldn't know what to do with a boy!" Then he showed me the pink bracelet the tech gave him that says "It's a Girl." He proudly wears it everyday! That boy loves his girls {and they love him too}! When we told the girls, Lauren was happy and Kylee just doesn't get it.
{The big round thing...yeah, that's her belly...it's hereditary! Then her head is to the left with her left arm above her head. Then her legs are on the far right}
So here we go with another girl!!! And we are really excited! {I am glad that the 10 totes of girls clothes sitting in the garage will get used again!} Now the hard part is picking her name! I had one picked but now that we know she's a girl, it just doesn't seem to fit her right. {I really want to call her something other than "the baby!" or "Baby Girl #3"} Until then, we will wait patiently until October for another sweet baby girl!
