{Photo Shoot}

Trying to get a decent family photo is like pulling teeth without anesthesia! I wanted to do a family picture for our Christmas cards, but the timing never worked out and we didn't get it done. So I dressed the kids, sat them on the chair, and told Lauren to smile. Does it sound that hard? Really? No, it doesn't, but to a 2 year old with serious "drama queen" issues, it was not working. So...23 pictures later, I got one that was pretty cute. Kylee was asleep, but at least she wasn't screaming! So I finally got my cards mailed out last night, I need to wrap 2 presents and I am ready for the big day. I am really excited for Christmas day this year. I have been telling Lauren she needs to be good, so that Santa can bring her presents; specifically "big girl panties." So last night in the car after leaving my mom's house, she asks us: "Mommy, was I a good listener? Will Santa bring me panties?" Hopefully she won't repeat that to everyone...it doesn't sound very appropriate!
