{They're Hatching}

We have church at 9am, so we were awake bright and early Easter morning. To our surprise the Easter Bunny came in the night, leaving new swimming suits and fun things in our Easter baskets. He even ate the carrots Lauren left out for him and wrote a very thoughtful thank you note!! What a nice Easter Bunny!

Eating nerds.

After church we went to my parents house for dinner. After dinner the kids dyed eggs and then we hid them in the backyard for them to find. The kids loved it. Knowing the kids would make a mess, we took off their clothes and put on bibs! They dyed the eggs really fast and were ready to hide. They didn't understand why they couldn't help hide and find the eggs too. Eventually after a few times of hiding, the eggs started to crack. The kids however, kept saying the eggs were "hatching."


Lacie wasn't into dying the eggs, she just wanted to drink it!
