I had a huge Motherly Break Through today!
I mean HUGE!
I let my kids play in the rain.
I let them get dirty and roll around in the wet grass and on the dirty side walk....IN CLEAN CLOTHES!
I let them play with the neighbor children for more than 2 seconds.
I let them run and scream and be crazy down the side walk and into the neighbors yard...away from our house!
This is huge. A very big deal.
Surprisingly we all survived.
And I might let it happen again.
But for now...I think I need a nap.
{Yes...I have control issues. I'm working on it!}

We were at the park and when it started raining I stood up and at the top of my lungs yelled, "IT'S RAINING!!!". We played and played and then we were drenched so we went home...Nice break through!! I'm excited FOR YOUR KIDS!! lol
Pretty good for someone who hates bath time;)
I am glad to know that I am not the only parent with control issues. I do not like my kids out of my sight...unless properly supervised by someone else. :)
