{Is It Over Yet}

We have not been up to much lately. It's way too hot. But I have been doing my best to entertain Lauren. Which is difficult when you are confined to the house. I am sure it is much like living in Alaska...only brighter...and hotter....but I digress. Here is proof that I try to keep my kids happy via fun summer entertainment such as:

Playing in the hose.

Blowing bubbles.

Practicing doing her hair with the curling iron.

And letting her wear whatever ridiculous outfit she wants, for as long as she wants.

However, I might venture to say that Lauren was most thrilled, when I pulled out the tote of shoes (too small or too big) and she was able to admire the ones that didn't fit anymore and try on the ones that did. That girls loves shoes.

Yet not as thrilled as when Disc 1 of Season 3 of "Reba" arrived from Netflix today! She was elated! Literally jumping up and down, squealing! I wish I had had my camera. I don't know why the fascination. Not like we watch it all the time, we don't even have cable. Perhaps she likes it because the feisty, bossy and slightly overbearing mother-character that Reba plays reminds her of someone she knows...and loves....no that's probably not it! But if you have never seen "Reba" you should...pretty funny. I think Lauren thinks they are real people--talks about them as if they are---don't know if that is a good thing for a 3 year old, I guess it could be worse--again I digress.

As for Kylee...well, as long as she is fed, has had a nap, and gets to crawl all over the place, she is happy as can be!

But in case you were wondering, I am ready for winter....really ready!

Ready for winter?! I'm still waiting for summer to start here in Scranton! It has been raining EVERY day here. But then again, I would gladly take an arizona winter right now.
